A summer celebration
in dance, music, film, & fashion
July 11 & 12 2025
East Side Performing Arts - 979 Springdale Rd
Step into the first chapter of the CRONE universe—a matriarchal society where magic regenerates rather than depletes.
Original choreography by Red Nightfall Artistic Director Dorothy O'Shea Overbey, set to Navajo composer Connor Chee's piano works, reveals practitioners wielding their unique powers, while her short film "Elegy" examines joy and grief as complementary forces.
We are thrilled to be joined by celebrated Austin pianist Dr. Scott Donald, whose masterful interpretations of Connor Chee, Claude Debussy, Samuel Barber, and Franz Liszt will guide our journey through this world of light and shadow.
Costume renderings by local fashion designers will be displayed throughout the venue, imagining the attire of magical practitioners in the CRONE universe. The evening culminates in audience-collaborative devising and a rapturous celebration of light.
A donation-based bar offers cocktails and sweet treats throughout the evening.
